I did it! Less than a year from when I started it, I knitted a dress :)
Since a picture speaks a 1000 words, here are a few:
It fits. I love it! other people seem to like it...I wore it to
church - many people complimented me on it, and only some knew I had
made it (so not all of them could have been pity compliments!)
Later that week I also wore it to work. I can't believe my luck that it was cool enough two days in the same week at this time of year to wear the dress!
