A few months back my roommate found a great Irish dance
class opportunity – so we jumped on it (or jigged away with it? ;)
It was the perfect way to prepare ourselves for the trip to
Ireland we were planning, and turned out to be even more perfect when she
filmed me dancing in Ireland after listening to some great local, traditional
Irish music on our last night:
Now that the music is in your mind, you can check out the

Both of the arm formations we learned made an appearance:
First, the “holding quarters in your hands with your arms at
your side” version:

Clearly I still have a long way to go towards Irish dancing
proficiency – but certainly a grand adventure!!
